Technical Assignment 1:
This portion of the Fall Thesis is intended to familiarize students with the conditions under which their building is constructed and the scope of work. This background will provide us with the opportunities and constraints that affect the design and construction process.
Technical Assignment 2:
This section of the Fall Thesis allows us to analyze the key features of the project that affect project execution. It determines important schedule attributes and the costs of one key building system.
Technical Assignment 3:
Technical Assignment 3 teaches us to begin identifying areas of the project that are good candidates for research, alternative methods, value engineering, and schedule compression. This section helps form the basis for the final thesis proposal.
