AE 481W/482 Course Reflection

The Senior Thesis experience has provided me with further knowledge and experience in the design of an actual

building.  While our coursework at Penn State has provided us with a strong background in design and analysis of

structures and other building systems, the thesis project has allowed us to gain real-world experience with a complex

building. I believe that I am now better prepared to take on the challenges of structural design as I pursue my career

in Architectural Engineering.

CPEP & Discussion Board Reflection

The CPEP websites allowed us to have a space to display our senior thesis work and to view the work of other past

and current students in Architectural Engineering. The Discussion Board provided helpful information from a

variety of professionals in several fields. The professionals provided prompt responses to all of our questions

and were a valuable resource when completing our senior thesis.
