This proposal was updated after a consultation with Dr. Riley.
Several small changes were made. Most notably, an analysis concerning the
efficacy of radiant ceiling tiles in the middle school was removed.
Research Topic: Obstacles to building green schools.
Tilt-up Wall System: Constructability and cost/schedule savings of using
a tilt-up wall system in combination with a Nitterhouse Masonry Products,
Inc. precast brick facade system.
Metal Stud Walls: Constructability and cost savings associated with replacing
CMU walls with lightweight metal stud walls.
