AE 481W/482 Course Reflection

Overall, I feel that the AE Senior Thesis program went well. The way that AE481 is designed makes AE482 much easier when it comes aroud. The Tech reports as well as the Lutron presentations helped to give a good background and starting point for AE482. My internship with Holophane last summer as well as all of our AE classes made AE481 fairly easy. I felt the class was also easier with the deadlines that were close to eachother as opposed to little to no deadlines of AE482. My major issue with thesis was in AE482 when it came to managing time. I laid my intended schedule out on paper, but it was too ideal and didn't budget for problems that would occur on the way through. In that class, I was basically my own enemy by waiting too long to get started, and not accounting for small problems that would occur throughout the process. I feel that the AE Senior Thesis is a worthly cause. I learned a lot throught the 2 classes, and feel I'm now prepared to work in the real world as a full time AE.

CPEP & Discussion Board Reflection

I never posted any questions on the discussion boards, by my inbox was constantly flooded with email from professional responses, so I feel that the students that used it frequently had great success. The answers to questions were posted quickly and professionally.
