About Brian
Growing up just outside of Chicago, Brian chose to pursue his
dream of designing world-famous buildings by attending Penn
State in the Architectural Engineering Program, structural
option. He is currently in his fifth and final year, and
will graduate in May 2004 with two degrees, Bachelors of
Architectural Engineering and Masters of Architectural
Engineering. His industry experience includes two summer
internships at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in Chicago and a
summer internship at Arup in New York City. In fall of
2002 he had the opportunity to spend a
semester gallivanting across Europe and studying at the
University of Leeds, England. He enjoys his time in the
mountains of Central PA and is actively involved on and off
campus. His professional activities include the Student
Society of Architectural Engineers (President) and the
Structural Engineering Association. If you're looking for
Brian outside of thesis studio, you'll likely find him at the
State College Presbyterian Church, where he spends 10-15 hours a
week in fellowships, Bible studies, prayer groups, and worship
services. Otherwise, he might be playing guitar or sax,
golfing, cooking, or cheering his beloved Chicago Cubs into the
postseason!
