AE 481W/482 While the AE senior thesis was more challenging and time-consuming than any upper-classman advice could ever have prepared me for, it was a comprehensive educational experience that covered both the creative and technical aspects of the lighting/electrical option. Balancing thesis with my other courses was the most effective exercise in time management that I received in my entire time at Penn State. Practical knowledge gained through research and application has helped to prepare me for my career as a lighting designer. The opportunity to have my work critiqued by professionals provided valuable preparation for future industry situations. CPEP The Capstone Project e-Portfolio website was an effective tool for the documentation and distribution of my senior thesis work to advisors, prospective employers, mentors, and family members to document my progress and view my completed project.
