Questions:

                Class and Grade used?

                Any change in the strength from 6.5 to 5.5?

                How long – duration of testing? (from fly ash/mixture handout)

Permeability Testing - Geoffrey Kurgan

Questions:

                7-28 days curing – different temperatures?  Need to look at accelerated and long- term results.

Corrosion Testing - Kevin Smith

Questions:

                Have you ever used DC current in this test (Rick Fielding)?

                Why difference in slab and the cylinder (Shri)?

    Equipment in the field…what do you use as a standard distance…measure resistance…how does the equipment compensate that?  Measurement between the testing point.

                Plan to change computer program Life 365 - database?  (Shri)

                Accelerating corrosion test – are you participating in that? (Jerry Malasheskie)

    Since concrete is better - longer wait window any consideration about how…methods to speed up the chlorides in the sample?  Ways you are looking at? (Bruce Bowers)

Shrinkage – Savita Goel

Questions:

                Did you notice a difference in the fly ash – one source?

                Mortar bars - slag higher and concrete slightly lower?

                Main reason is to avoid cracking? (Shri)

                How do you plan to provide guidance to predict potential for tracking? (Shri)

    Same mixtures as other tests?  Samples from Kernville right off the truck  - using real concrete as opposed to laboratory mix?

    Few different construction techniques - what are those? (Bhide)

    Sand fine in the mixture?  More coarse sand? (Bhide)

    Steel girder bridges?  Heat loss to the bottom?  Any plan to seal completely – insulate? (Bryan Spangler)

    Pours done at night?  Pans not hot?
