| | Welcome to the Old Main Group Page. This page contains all new changes for our design and group for IME II.
It contains new redesigns and presentations as well as updated drawings and
anything else that may be pertinent for the manufacture of Old Main.
Our Product:
Our product is a replica of Old Main. This
semester it is more proportional and will look more to scale than last.
The reason why is because we have researched and purchased a smaller clock which
scaled down the entire structure. It is more 2-Dimensional now and will
have a wooden base to contrast more with the aluminum structure. Also,
some of the other changes involve a drastic weight reduction, which impacts the
manufacturing cost of Old Main. We have also tried to go for near net
shape for many of our components that make up our design.
