The main sturctural depth of this report involves a complete structural system redesign to reinforced concrete. The gravity system consists of a flat slab on columns designed for gravity only. Shear walls spanning the entire height of the building were provided to resist all of the gravity loadings and limit drift to such that it satisifies the S-1 "Immediate Occupany" requirements of ASCE 41-06.

Two breadth topics are also included. One consisting of a study of the difference in thermal heat gain across the glazing when moved to the new site in San Francisco. The other is a verification of the sound transmission properties between the hotel rooms to ensure that the new structure does not cause noise problems.
