AE 481W Course Reflection

The writing curriculum for this section of the course was constructively intensive. Several technical reports were composed which resulted in a greater understanding of the construction processes and areas of improvement. this was very beneficial in determining potential analysis areas for the second portion of this course.

I believed that the required topics of focus for the technical reports were thorough and sufficient and they allowed for a great opportunity for learning many new and current construction means and methods.

AE 482 Course Reflection

I enjoyed this portion of the course because it allowed me to propose solutions and research deta to support my proposals. There were a few issues with individuals contacting me back unfortunately. It was also the case that the mentor forum did not return any of my messages. It was very frustrating to not get any response or feedback from these industry members as well as others.

Despite these frustrations I did feel a great sense of accomplishment and success with my areas of analysis and the conslusions and recommendations I made.

CPEP Reflection

It was a little bit time consuming and frustrating to get my CPEP operational, however, after attending both of the information sessions I was able to successfully complete my CPEP and get everything working. Implementing the CPEP website really gave me a great opportunity to experience the launching of a website. It will hopefully benefit me in the future if I ever need to support efforts to launch a website. Ryan Solnosky was extremely helpful with this process.
