Final Report

This report investigates several alternative systems for the Medical Office Building, including structural, mechanical, and lighting. These alternative systems were compared to the existing systems based on their performance, cost, and usability benefits. In most cases the alternative systems were just as suitable as the existing systems, but certain system combinations were more beneficial than what their individual analysis showed. The report concludes that the true value of a building's systems has more to do with the entire building than with the individual parts.
