Proposal

Depth: This proposal states that a post-tensioned slab and beam system shall be designed to replace the existing composite steel system. The post-tensioned system will be designed to keep all existing bay sizes and signififcant architectural features while also resisting any additional loads created.

Breadth:

Construction Management - The Scheduling Impact of new structural system will be investigated. The Construction phasing of the new structural system will be outlined to get tenants into the buidling as soon as possible.

Mechanical - The proposed post-tensioned slabs will need to be investigated at slab openings for duct work. An investigation into switching from an all air system to a water - air mixture system using a ground source heat pump will also be done.
