AE 481W and AE 482 Course Reflection
Overal, my senior thesis experience was very positive.  It was a very valuable type of project to have an entire semester to meet a proposal idea formulated months earlier.  It helped to force me to make priorities and have checkpoints to meet along the semester to assure myself of completion of the project.  This will be very valuable when given projects later in my career.  It was also very useful to go through the problem finding process in the first semester and then look for ways to fix these problems.  This is often what I will have to do as a construction manager.  My main struggle with the process was contacting personel from the industry.  I know that this process is supposed to help us learn to commicate with people from the industry but I really had an issue with bothering very busy industry members will silly thesis questions.  I felt the discussion board was a very good way to get the answers I needed but still didn’t feel right bothering industry members on my project for project specific questions.  Overall, I again felt the entire thesis process was very positive in my development of professional skills.

CPEP Reflection
This was my first experience with maintaining a website and I did sometimes struggle with the process.  However, I did find it very valuable and have learned many new things in the developing and maintaning of a website.  This will be very valuable in any future web work I may do.  I think the CPEP is a great way to share the work we have done with our senior thesis.
