Matthew W. Carr is a fifth year Architectual Engineering Student at The Pennsylvania State University. Matthew is currently working towards his Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree with a specialization in building mechanical system design. The intended graduation date is in the Spring of 2007.

In addition to his studies, Matt is involved in with numerous on-campus organiztions. Currently, he is serving as the Vice-President for the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), Penn State Student Branch and has served as the Secretary. Matt has also served as the Secretary and 2nd Year Representative for the Student Society of Architectural Engineers (SSAE). Also, he is a former member of the Penn State Club Archery Team.

During his college career, Matt has participated in several internships over the course of four summers including work as an inspector at PennDOT and work at Greenman-Pedersen Inc., both in Scranton, PA. While at Greenman-Pedersen from 2004 through 2006, Matthew worked as a mechanical systems designer and CAD operator for many various projects.

Matthew has high aspirations for future professional career and life. Professionally he looks forward to a working for a challenging firm in order to advance engineering and business skills while trying to obtain a professional engineering license and further career development.
