Thesis Proposal

The spring semester's thesis proposal has been prepared. Please click here to view the proposal.

The proposal consists of two alternate floor systems to the current two-way post-tensioned system. The first is a one-way joist slab. The other is a steel composite system. Two breadth options are also proposed. The first is the construction management process of the building, as changes in floor systems greatly affects the construction schedule and cost. The other is a lighting design aspect of the building, due to changes in floor-to-floor height and effects of daylighting on the interior spaces.
