Existing Conditions

This document provides an existing conditions report under which this building is constructed. It provides an analysis and summarization of the project schedule, a description of each of the building systems, and a cost evaluation.  The cost of the building is broken down into the construction cost and total building cost and then estimated using D4Cost 2002 and R.S. Means.

Technical Assignment 1

This technical assignment describes the construction management techniques used at Civista Medical Center, located in La Plata, MD.  In this assignment, the project’s existing conditions concerns, local conditions, client information, project delivery system, and the construction management staffing plan is analyzed. 

Technical Assignment 2

This technical assignment provides information of how the project was executed. A detailed schedule is provided that reflects the phasing and sequencing of the new building addition's major activities. The site layout plan depicts the concrete placement phase of the construction along with temporary facilities. A cost estimation of the building envelope, structural system and general conditions is included.

Technical Assignment 3

This technical assignment presents a summary of the three sessions I attended at the PACE Round Table Discussion. My research will discuss Infection Control Risk Assessment. I plan to focus my technical research on Civista's mechanical and electrical systems.
