This senior thesis final report is the end result of the research and work from the AE 481W/482 courses. Using the Reston Station Phase 1 parking structure as a research and topic basis, 4 construction related issues as well as 2 breadths are discussed. These include the impacts of public-private partnerships, the use of bonded warehouses for equipment staging, utilizing SIPS sequencing for scheduling, and adding mechanical chases to the garage to facilitate better concrete penetration coordination.
