Cory Carson is a fifth year student at the Pennsylvania State University majoring in Architectural Engineering. His major emphasis is in the lighting/electrical option in which he plans to graduate with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in December of 2006.

His work in the lighting field involves his thesis work on the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel addition. In Cory’s spare time, he loves working on small projects for his friends and family.

Outside of the classroom, Cory is involved in the Architectural Engineering Institute (AEI), the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), the Student Society of Architectural Engineers (SSAE), and the Engineering Mentorship Program (EMP). He also enjoys keeping active by participating in various kinds of outdoor/indoor sports.

Upon graduation, Cory looks forward to applying his education in the design field. His goal is to secure a position with a design firm and spend his career altering other’s emotions through lighting.
