Depth Topic: Design of Alternate Floor System
The proposal below is for consideration of an alternate structural floor system. The alternate system will be put in place in order to allow for the relocation of mechanical equipment to the roof level. The relocation of this equipment could prove quite useful in a multitude of ways.
Breadth Topic
1: Construction Management Issues
The first breadth issue
being considered is how the new floor system would impact the cost of construction
and the amount of time needed for completion.

2: Mechanical Issues
The second breadth topic will be an investigation of the mechanical impacts
of the new floor system. Considerations will need to be made in order to
account for the reduction in available floor space.
