Resume (PDF)

Mike grew up in the small town of Burrillville, Rhode Island where he excelled in math and science, while developing a deep appreciation for the arts and nature. Mike found the challenge that he had been searching for in the Architectural Engineering program at The Pennsylvania State University. He will graduate in May 2006 with Integrated Bachelor and Master Degrees in Architectural Engineering focused in the Structural Option. In addition, Mike was able to deepen his respect for architecture through two minors—Architectural History and Architectural Studies—and an amazing summer abroad program to study architecture in Rome, Italy in 2004. In his spare time, Mike has gained leadership experience with the Penn State Outing Club, where he has spent three years as a Trail Crew trip leader and office work-study.

Mike spent the summer of 2005 as a field intern with Hensel Phelps Construction Company. He gained valuable insight into the construction industry and first-hand experience of what it takes to construct a successful building from the perspective of the general contractor. The experience will help him better understand his peers and partners as he enters the professional world.
