About David

David's Resume

David grew up near the small town of New Enterprise, PA.  He is currently a fifth year student in the Integrated Bachelor and Master of Architectural Engineering program at Penn State, where he specializes in mechanical systems.  He passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam and intends to pursue his PE license upon graduation with both degrees in August of 2007.  Outside of the classroom, Dave or “Po” enjoys playing guitar and several intramural sports.

During the summer of 2006, David interned in the mechanical department at Kling, a Washington, DC based firm who performs architectural, engineering, and interior design.   At Kling David acquired valuable experience while working on a wide variety of projects including a data center, several laboratories, mixed office-use spaces, a tenant fit-out, and a parking garage.  Working in close proximity to architects as well as structural and electrical engineers, he learned the importance of coordinating with other disciplines and how to communicate effectively with persons from other specialty areas.

Kling recently merged with a highly respected architectural firm, The Stubbins Associates, to become KlingStubbins.  After graduation, David plans to work in the mechanical department of KlingStubbins’ main office in Philadelphia.
