John Dixon's Bio
John Dixon is currently in his 5th year of study in the Architectural Engineering program at the Pennsylvania State University. He is focused in the construction management option of the Architectural Engineering program. John will graduate in December 2007 with and integrated bachelors and masters of Architectural Engineering Degree.
John has spent the last two summers working with Holder Construction Company in the Northern Virginia area. During these summers John has spent time learning the aspects of construction both on site and through the preconstruction phases. These summer internships have been very valuable in helping to further his knowledge of the construction industy.
While at Penn State John has been very active with the Penn State Crew Club. He is the former President of the club and is currently in his third year as the heavyweight men's captain. John has also served two years as the Vice Chairman of the Club Sports Advisory Council and is currently a placement officer for the student chapter of the Partnership for Achieving Construction Excellence (PACE). John has worked as a server in downtown State College at the Tavern Restaurant for the last 3 years.
