Thesis Abstract
Executive Summary
The Woolly Mammoth Theatre, home to the Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, is located in the heart of downtown Washington, DC. The theatre is set in a 12 story multi-use facitlity. The theatre is almost 32,000 square feet, which includes a 265 seat courtyard style theatre with all associated support spaces. The theme of the theatre is a "transparent theatrical laboratory". This is accomplished by having the support spaces for the theatre exposed for patrons to see. These include the classrooms, offices and rehearsal room.
