Thesis Proposal
The redesign of The Towers will include changing the cast in place concrete frame and shear walls to a structural steel system with composite metal deck and steel braced frames. Breadth work will include a cost and schedule comparison between the concrete and steel systems. It will also be determined if a LEED certification can be achieved by using more energy and cost efficient building systems.
