AE 481W & AE497G/897G Course Reflection
This senior thesis experience of Architectural Engineering has been very beneficial. The past five years of study at Penn State University were utilized in completing this senior thesis year. I have gained more experience with codes and references, and have further reinforced my design principles and engineering judgments. After completing this thesis year, I feel confident in both my learned technical and communicative skills within Architectural Engineering.
CPEP & Discussion Board Reflection
The CPEP site required to create and update throughout the thesis year was a useful tool. It alowed me to proudly display my work as well as look at past years works for comparison and insight. Having my work available through this site also made it easier for the instructors to grade and review my work. Additionally, the discussion board was a great resource for all Architectural Engineering senior thesis students. Practicing professionals provided timely responses to questions asked. It is also a great communicative tool connecting college students with practicing professionals, before entering the work force.
