Thesis Abstract
Executive Summary
Frederick Memorial Hospital is in the final stages of "Project 2000",
a construction campaign to update and expand the hospital. Phase IV consists
of complete interior demolition of the G wing of the hospital. The existing
courtyard/garden area of the wing will be infilled with elevated slabs constructed
to increase the effective floor square footage. The existing structure and
façade will remain, and a new brick façade will be constructed
over the old one.
