Technical Report 1
This assignment involves a detailed description of the existing structural systems of our thesis building, and some preliminary analysis. Wind, seismic, and earthquake loads are calculated, and the lateral load resisting systems are tested against them. Some typical framing elements are analyzed for gravity load as well.
Technical Report 2
In this assignment, I analyze and design six alternative floor systems, and explain their advantages and disadvantages.
Technical Report 3
Technical report 3 includes a detailed analysis of the lateral load resisting system of the building. Wind and seismic load are calculated, applied, and distributed. The lateral system is checked for strength and serviceability requirements.
