Kurt was born and raised in Larksville, PA. He attended Wyoming Vallley West High School. He graduated from Wyoming Valley West with honors and was a member of the National Honor Society. He began attending the Pennsylvania State University in the fall of 2003.

Growing up under a father, grandfather, and an uncle that owned their own companies in the construction field has lead the pathway for Kurt into Architectural Engineering. Kurt is currently in his 10th semester at Penn State in the 5 - year ABET accredited BAE program, with a structural emphasis. He is a part of many student organizations such as Student Society of Architectural Engineering Association, Student Structural Engineering Association, and The Penn State Blue and White Society. Kurt will graduate in May of 2008 with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering.

After graduation, Kurt will begin his career as the Southeastern Regional Sales Engineer for Bentley/RAM International and will be based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
