Matthew Hoerr's Bio Matthew Hoerr is currently a fifth year student majoring in Architectural engineers at The Pennsylvania State University. He is specializing in the construction management option of the architectural engineering program. He is currently scheduled to graduate in May 2008 with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering. Last summer Matt interned with Hess Construction Company located in Gaithersburg, Maryland. While at Hess construction Matt gained valuable experience by first learning how to use expedition and do quality control and safety walks while on-site at Mary B. Neal Elementary School. Midway through his internship experience he was given his own elementary school renovation project in Baltimore City. On this project he was responsible for daily reports and weekly report binders to the owner of the school. He also wrote RFI's and kept track of all change orders and submittals on the project. This internship with Hess construction gave him a lot of valuable experience and knowledge in the construction industry.
