Ryan grew up in his birth town of Allentown, Pennsylvania and graduated in 2003 from Parkland High School. His passion for Penn State began early while attending Penn State football games in Beaver Stadium each year.  This is where his desire to attend The Pennsylvania State University began.  He now studies Architectural Engineering in the Structural Engineering option at the university where he will graduate in May 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, a 5-year, ABET-accredited Professional Degree.

Ryan was a swimmer from the early age of 4 and continued through High School.  Ryan was an All-American award recipient and led his team to the State Championships the spring of his senior year where he was a State Medalist as well as a leader for his team to achieve State Runners-up.  He is very proud of what the sport has given him and the lessons learned being a part team sports. Ryan was also a swim coach for many years during high school and college.

During the summer of 2007, Ryan was fortunate to discover a firm in Richmond, VA called Moseley Architects.  At the full service Architecture/Engineering firm, he gained invaluable knowledge working as a Structural Engineering intern.  He is very privileged to have worked for such a tremendous team of individuals.  Both on-site and in-office, the amount of knowledge he learned and the company’s willingness to expand his understanding of structures is something for which he is extremely grateful.
