The final report contains an overview of the existing Roberts Pavilion as well as the redesign of the building in reinforced concrete. The structural redesign was broken into two main parts: the gravity system and the lateral system. Redesigning the gravity system consisted of two-way slabs and column design. The lateral system was redesigned to incorporate shear walls and moment frames.
Two breadths were also done in addition to the structural depth. These consisted of an acoustics study and a cost and schedule analysis. The switch from steel to concrete had a large impact on both the acoustics and the construction of the building.
