Welcome to Angela Mincemoyer's Senior Thesis Portfolio
The Peggy Ryan Williams Center in Ithaca, New York serves as the Ithaca College admissions building, along with various administrative offices. The building possesses a pedestrian bridge that enables its occupants to easily access the adjacent building with no need to go outdoors. Steel is the main structural material for the building. Currently and throughout my fall semester of 2013, I will be studying the existing condition of the building, focusing my efforts on the structural system. Near the end of the semester, I will write and submit a proposal for my studies in the upcoming spring semester of 2014. During the spring semester, I will work to explore alternative structural systems for the building.
