Student Bio

Shivam Patel is currently in his 5th year of study in the Architectural Engineering Program at Penn State University.  In May 2014, he will graduate with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree with a focus in construction management and a Minor in Engineering Entrepreneurship. Shivam is also a member of clubs such as the Student Chapter of the Partnership for Achieving Construction Excellence (S:PACE), the Student Society for Architectural Engineers (SSAE), and the Penn State Club Lacrosse Team.

This past summer, Shivam was an office/field intern with Turner Construction Company in New York City. Shivam spent the summer on the Whitney Museum of American Art and this expeirence has given him a valuable understanding of the overall construction management process and insight into the many aspects of the construction industry. Shivam looks forward to continuing his future in the construction industry and hopes to bring all he has learned to a project.

During his free time, Shivam loves to golf, play basketball and lacrosse and enjoys the occasional novel.
