What is Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching?

The Microsoft Imagine program is now Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching. To access, please go to the Education Hub. If you are prompted to log in, enter your Penn State email address.

How do you sign up?

Your access to Azure Dev Tools for Teaching is determined and granted automatically by being enrolled at Penn State.

How do I download the Software Developer Tools?

Your Azure for Students subscription will provide you with access to certain Software Developer Tools, available to download for free. You must have a current, active Azure for Students subscription in order to access the Software Developer Tools. You can download this software in the Education Hub.

If I get software through the Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching program, do I have unlimited usage of the software?

Yes. Students may enjoy unlimited usage of software for the purpose of furthering their learning and research efforts. The software is not to be used to run a business or for ventures that drive commercial profit.
