Depth Work
I am proposing a change to the lateral force resisting system of the building. The current system utilizes a dual system of special moment frames and eccentrically braced frames. I will be investigating the use of a core only concrete shear wall system. I will look to see if there is any benefit to removing moment frames and braced frames. Any cost, schedule, or overall efficiency of the new system.
Breadth Work
I will be investigating the construction management asapects of changing the lateral system of the building. Also, I will look into Speech Privacy in an open office floor plan.
