Architecture: | NAVCC consists of 3 major building elements serving specific purposes. The Nitrate Vaults which are entirely below grade serve as storage for nitrate emitting media where as the Collections building stores the non-nitrate media as well as low temperature vaults for motion film. The aply named Conservation Building contains the labs and offices where employess restore and conserve media of any kind. In addition to restoration, the Conservation Building also houses theaters and listening facilites for all types of media to be appreciated. |
