Na-rae Kang is currently in her fifth year of The Pennsylvania State University’s Architectural Engineering ABET accredited program focusing in construction management. She will graduate in August 2007 with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree.

Na-rae Kang had an opportunity to live multiple countries and gained keen multi-cultural background. She lived her first 17 years in South Korea and moved to Austria with her parents. While attending Vienna International School, she took advanced art, advanced mathematics and physics, which influenced her decision when choosing a major.

This past summer Na-rae was awarded an internship with Jacobs Facilities Inc. in Washington DC. She was involved in the new Department of Transportation project, worth $800 million and 1.35 million sq. ft. While an intern with JFI, she managed to maintain and update the database and spreadsheet for punch out and schedule. She had a chance to work both in the office and on the jobsite.

In her free time, Na-rae enjoys cooking and studying Spanish for better communication with foremen.
Currently she accepted an offer from Jacobs Facilities Inc and work as a project engineer upon her graduation.
