AE 481W/482 Course Reflection
Overall thesis class is not as bad as it is built up to be. Sure the work is over whelming and the nights are long, but hey it’s not that bad. Sometimes you wake up in the middle of the night with cold sweats wondering if you’re ever going to make it through this class, but overall it is a good experience. The work is only as hard as you make it, and truthfully the AE faculty is one of the best recourses on campus, they really do want you to succeed and most of them are there to help. If you put the effort in, you will get results, these classes were a great experience and they do instill a sense of the engineering world that we are not normally exposed to. One more thing, be prepared to not get all of the information requested and it is always helpful to act as if you are in charge of a real project; sometimes that is the only way to get any real information out of some of the companies you contact.

CPEP & Discussion Board Reflection
The CPEP website and the discussion board are both great tools. Trust me it is a lot easier, and cheaper, to post a report to the website, as apposed to printing out a copy of it. The discussion board is of great help it puts you in contact with working professionals and allows you to ask them some of the questions that might occur to you. They help a lot and if they don’t know the answer they definitely point you in the right direct, to figure it out yourself.
