Frank's Personal Biography

 

     Frank Burke is a highly self-motivated structural student at Penn State University who plans to graduate with his MAE/BAE in May of 2006. Frank always had strong math and problem solving skills since he was younger, and when mixed with the goal of building his own house when he was older; he began realizing what he truly wanted to do. This led him to Penn State where his passion developed and expanded into a multitude of structural directions.

     Frank had the opportunity to experience some real life challenges by working with two outstanding companies over the summer of 2004 and 2005. The first internship was at The Design Collaborative in Cape May Court House NJ. This internship provided Frank with a lot of experience on the Architectural side of the A/E/C business. In 2005 he worked at Cagley and Associates in Rockville MD. This provided Frank with a great amount of structural experience. With his new knowledge, through school and these internships, Frank plans to begin pursuing a professional career next June.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Capstone Project Electronic Portfolio (CPEP) is a web-based project and information center. It contains material produced for a year-long Senior Thesis class. Its purpose, in addition to providing central storage of individual assignments, is to foster communication and collaboration between student, faculty consultant, course instructors, and industry consultants. This website is dedicated to the research and analysis conducted via guidelines provided by the Department of Architectural Engineering.
