Shawn B. Jones Biography
Shawn Jones hails from the Mifflinburg Area Alma Matter where he spent all of his childhood years. Despite his over 10,000-piece Lego collection, the true love of Architectural Engineering and Design came to him his last two years of high school with the introduction of AutoCAD. Starting with Release 14, Shawn has mastered the art of both 2D and 3D AutoCAD, winning a high school wide award for his AutoCAD drawings. At Penn State, he has furthered his computer design skills and even helped assist in teaching 3D AutoCAD to his fellow classmates in Architecture Studio. Shawn is now a 5th year Structural student in the ABET accredited Architectural Engineering program here at Penn State. He recently passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam and will be given the Engineer In Training status upon graduation. In his spare time, Shawn enjoys singing with the Penn State Glee Club and being a member of the Penn State Ultimate Frisbee Team.
