Samuel's Bio

Samuel has always had a strong interest in construction. Ever since he could pick up a hammer, Samuel has always been active in the construction field, from building his father’s 4,000 square foot house, to steel framing for a residential steel contractor in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, to working summers with a finish carpenter in Rochester, New York. Samuel always knew he wanted to work in the construction field which is why he chose to attend one of the finest architectural engineering schools in the country at Penn State University.
Samuel is currently in his final year of the 5-year ABET accredited AE program. He plans to graduate in May of 2006 with an Integrated Masters and Bachelors of Architectural Engineering degree focusing on structural design. After getting married to his beautiful wife, Franchesca in 2003, Samuel acquired an internship with the Southern Company structural department in Birmingham, Alabama. This internship allowed Samuel to put to test the strong background of steel and concrete that he obtained through 5 years at Penn State while obtaining hands on experience in the structural industry. After graduating from Penn State, Samuel hopes to acquire a permanent position with a Structural Engineering firm that will allow him to expand his knowledge of structural design and building construction. He also plans on obtaining his Professional Engineering license as a part of his future professional development.
