RESUME

TIMOTHY MUELLER graduated from North Hills High School in May of 2001. Following graduation, Tim began studying Architecture at The Pennsylvania State University. He soon realized that his success in the sciences was not being utilized, and subsequently began a transition into the Architectural Engineering department. He was accepted into the ABET accredited program in the spring of 2003, and gained acceptance into the integrated masters program a year later. He will graduate in December of 2006 with both a Bachelor and Master of Architectural Engineering. He has chosen the structural option in pursuit of his degree, due in large part to his strong background in steel and concrete design, as well as an understanding of all major building systems. He has been able to obtain construction knowledge though work with his family's construction company, Bortmess Custom Homes. He has also sharpened his understanding of both construction management and lighting electrical systems though an internship with Truland Systems.

In his free time, Tim is involved in several extracurricular academic and professional programs at the Pennsylvania State University. He is President of Phi Sigma Pi, a National Honors Fraternity, and is President of the National Association of Homebuilders, Penn State Student Chapter. Additionally, Tim is a member of Mortar Board (National Senior Honors Society), the National Collegiate Scholars, the Student Society of Architectural Engineers, and is an assistant to the Architectural Engineering department.
