Ian Gayman's Bio

Ian graduated from Bedford High School in 2002. Once graduated, he decided to combine his interest in design and skill for math and science into the major of Architectural Engineering (AE) at Penn State. Being a person who understands the importance of planning, Ian specialized in construction management. He plans to complete his bachelors degree and graduate in the fall of 2007.

Ian has gained experience in the industry by interning with Reynolds Construction this previous summer. While there, he experienced the workings of a jobsite and learned about the procedures and levels of communication that are involved in a large scale project.

Throughout Ian’s college career, he has been an active member in several clubs. Ian has joined and served as an officer for the organization for construction management ae’s known as S:PACE (Student Chapter of the Partnership for Achieving Construction Excellence). He has been an active member in the group known as CRUX which emphasizes group leadership in an outdoor setting.

In the future, Ian plans to continually develop his skills and understanding of construction management as well and explore the various ways in which those skills may be applied.
