About Kyle Oberdorf

Kyle Oberdorf attended Lewisburg Area High School in Lewisburg Pennsylvania.  After graduating high school in 2002, Kyle elected to pursue a degree in Architectural Engineering from Pennsylvania State University with a focus in structural design.  Kyle is now in his 9th semester of the 5 year ABET accredited AE program.  He plans on graduating in May with a Bachelors degree in Architectural Engineering.  Through his course work at Penn State, Kyle has gained a strong background in steel, concrete and wood structural design principles in addition to a firm foundation in engineering and computer skills.  He has furthered his education in engineering by obtaining experience in a design office through his internship with S and A Homes.  In addition to being a member of both the Student Society of Architectural Engineers and the Structural Engineers Association, Kyle has participated in a number of Intramural Sports winning titles in both Soccer and Wrestling.  Kyle has also spent 3 seasons working as a member of the Tussey Mountain Snow Sports School teaching ski lessons to people of all ages and abilities, including teaching multiple sections of the Penn State Kinesiology classes gaining skills in communication, problem solving and adaptability.
