ABET Outcome Survey

I think the thesis program is an effective capstone project. I think the only misfortune of the program is that the students may start on unequal footing based on the project and amount of information that they can come accross. It may be beneficial for the university to utilize the companies that come to our career fair to provide or recommend projects that have all the necissary compenents to facilitate a quality output.

CPEP & Discussion Board Reflection

I think the CPEP sites are an efficient way for faculty, students, and companies to stay in touch on the projects. It is also a great way for students to learn about past students work & how to improve their own.

The Capstone Project Electronic Portfolio (CPEP) is a web-based project and information center. It contains material produced for a year-long Senior Thesis class. Its purpose, in addition to providing central storage of individual assignments, is to foster communication and collaboration between student, faculty consultant, course instructors, and industry consultants. This website is dedicated to the research and analysis conducted via guidelines provided by the Department of Architectural Engineering. For an explanation of this capstone design course and its requirements click here.
