Michael Sandretto
Michael Max Sandretto was born and raised in Monroeville, a quiet suburb outside of Pittsburgh, PA. As a child Michael spent countless hours playing with Legos® and Construx®. Many looked at his fixation with such toys as a sign of things to come. As Michael graduated from Gateway Senior High School in 2002 he enrolled in The Architectural Engineering program at the Pennsylvania State University with an emphasis in structural design. Last summer Michael worked as an intern for Atlantic Engineering Services in Pittsburgh. During his time spent there he gained valuable knowledge and real world experience and became familiar with many advanced engineering computer programs. Michael is in his 5th year of the ABET accredited AE program and is currently working on his senior thesis project. Through his thesis Michael hopes to culminate his education and gain deeper insight into the complete process of structural design. Planning to graduate in the fall of 2007 with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree, Michael hopes to launch an innovative career in structural design.
