Course Reflection

Senior thesis presented both challenges and opportunities to learn and truly understand the construction industry. It required a well rounded understanding of not only each person's individual option, but also the options of fellow students. It required me to not only work within my knowledge base but to work with faculty, industry professionals, and fellow students. Senior thesis may have been difficult times as calculations didn't always work the first time or a new program had to be learned. But the interaction has given me a true appreciation for this major, this profession, and all those involved in it.

CPEP Reflection

The CPEP system may have seemed difficult at first, but over time the familiarity with the program made updates simple and easy. At first it was hard to understand why we were using a website to post all aspects of our thesis however as time progressed it was understood. The CPEP system is an excellent opportunity to inform employers or simply those interested in the industry about what a senior thesis consists of and what has been done. Overall the CPEP benefits are outstanding and should continue to be used.
