Nathanael Paist's Bio

Nate is currently in his fifth year of the Architectural Engineering program at Penn State, working towards an integrated Bachelor/Master degree in the Construction Management option. Planning to graduate after the fall semester of 2007, Nate is looking forward to entering into an active career in the construction industry.
Developing an interest in construction started at a young age for Nate, with his most influential experiences coming right after his hIgh school graduation. Not ready to start a college career, Nate decided to take a position with a telecommunications contractor. The fast paced nature of telecom construction allowed him to experience many different jobsite atmospheres and conditions. Once he was ready to pursue a college education, Nate was sure that the construction industry would offer him the career he desired.
The Architectural Engineering program is giving Nate the technical background, business knowledge, and industry opportunities he needs to succeed in his future career. This past summer afforded him the chance to gain some real world management experience as a Project Management intern for John J. Kirlin, Inc., a mechanical contractor out of Rockville, MD. Nate plans on attaining another internship this coming summer, and hopes to broaden his knowledge and understanding of the construction business and further prepare himself for the future.
