The Bio of Kristen Eash
Kristen Eash grew up in Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania. She began playing sports,
especially soccer, softball and swimming. She traveled around to visit her
family. On one of these visits with her Aunt Donna, who lived in the Washington
D.C. area, Kristen’s interest in buildings developed. She visited
the million dollar model homes and collected floor plans. She always desired
to make bigger and better homes.
In high school Kristen began taking drafting courses as well as residential
design classes. At this point, she also developed an interest in the construction
of buildings during design and building of her new home and barn by her
father. She was also busy in a variety of extra curricular activities. She
joined Swing Dancing Club, Spanish Club and Model United Nations. She also
tutored and was accepted into National Honor Society and Spanish National
Honor Society. She did not leave behind her love of sports either. She competed
in Basketball, Swimming and Diving, Track and Field and Volleyball for the
school and continued to play soccer and softball in her free time.
Kristen decided to go to the Pennsylvania State University to study Architectural
Engineering with a Construction Management option to blend her desire to
design with her love of construction. There she has complete five years
of her undergraduate degree and has applied and been accepted into an integrated
master program. She was also recruited for the Penn State Track and Field
team and competed with them for four years. On the side she joined the student
chapter of the Partnership for Achieving Construction Excellence and the
National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Kristen is expecting to graduate
from college with her Integrated Master and Bachelor Degrees in December
2006.
