Reflection
My Reflection: This year has been a life learning experience. I have learned to manage my time effectively, how to talk to industry members, how to find potential problems and deal with them before they arrise. Although my thesis did not result in the knock out presentation that I wanted, the quality of the work and the satisfaction of completing the work was more than enough for me. I look back and think of all the systems that I have learned to use and industry issues that I am now familiar with and am amazed.
From the begining my thesis expierence has been an exciting one. It amazed me how much work I did and how little time it seemed to demand. All this was thanks to setting demanding schedules and forcing myself to stick to them. To thoses that will be taking this course in the future that is my one solid peice of advice. This one thing is what was the most important thing to my thesis being as productive as it was and will in turn be the thing that will be the most useful in the future. So on that note I gladly conclude my thesis year and prepare to move on to the next phase of my life.
CPEP Reflection: The Cpep website was a huge pain in the butt. It was a convenient way to turn in work but the amount of maintencance that it took to keep it up and make it look good was almost as much as what I put into the Thesis. This was the only part of these two classes that I have disliked and it is purely the fact that all of the grades were based off of the usibility of this site. After everything was up though I did appreciate that it was there. I liked that my family was able to look at my work and share my interest. It was also a nice way for industry to see who I am and what I am doing. So on the whole I am completely neutral about this tool: Pain to make but nice in the end.
